NEW ARRIVAL
Japanese Dealers Seek USM Wear Parts for Earthquake Clean-up
Customers from Tas-Tech a wood grinding wear parts dealer from Japan paid a visit to the USM offices in Eldora, IA.

USM is currently working with Tas-Tech to develop new parts for machines currently manufactured exclusively in Japan. As a world lead in tungsten carbide application USM has been asked to use their top skills to make a world class product for these machines
On the morning of July 16, 2007 a 6.8 earthquake hit Tokyo, Japan.  Nine people lost their lives, almost a thousand were injured, and the world’s largest nuclear plant was damaged to the point of leaking radiation.  On the morning of Tas-Tech’s visit, USM shipped wear parts to Japan for air freight delivery, as an immediate demand for parts was needed for grinding efforts following the earthquake.  Over the next month USM will be creating and shipping parts to Japan in an effort to aid in earthquake clean-up.

USM currently supplies to every state in the United States and over 15 different countries around the world.
